For those wondering about ALERT!

For those who are wondering what happened to my game ALERT!, I decided to remove it. This was a very lazy project and is not worth being here. For those who have already tried it, great. But I'm gonna assume they had a horrible experience with the game. And for that, I apologize. The games in the future will be well thought out and polished.

Sad News

Hey, I have some bad news for you guys. The Unholy Castle will not be continued. This game was more of a test than an actual project for us. Also, by the looks of it, there aren't many people interested in this game. I will however still release the latest version of the game. It features three mini-bosses and one boss. It also features one of the songs by Tainlorr. Yes, there is only one song looping throughout the whole game. I'm sorry to announce that, but I assure you, we'll be making more projects in the near future. There's already another game coming to my mind and I think it's an interesting idea. I'll have to test it out soon. Until then, enjoy the final version of The Unholy Castle.

Alert!

Alert! is a simple click game where you try to defend the Hard Drive from endless waves of viruses.

P.S.- You'll also get to hear one of the songs from The Unholy Castle!

Promise Broken?

Hello everyone, I know I promised something by the end of this week, but I haven't had the time. Also, new projects were coming into my mind so I was testing some stuff out too. But I did manage to get a great composer for the game. You'll hear some of the music soon. Also, I've made another game. It was made in a matter of hours so don't expect anything. It's called Alert!. Basically, there is a Hard Drive on the left screen and a wall of fire (Firewall) is defending it. However, there are viruses that constantly spawn and attack the Firewall, creating space to attack the Hard Drive. You must use your mouse and kill the viruses by clicking on them. Like I said, it's a simple game, but I think it's enjoyable. Screenshots and the download link will be provided in the next post.

Composer Wanted!

Being busy with life, and making the game, I don't have time to compose my own music for the game. So, I decided to look for a composer. The music I'm looking for is of course, gaming music. Such as techno. Although this game is based on Castles, I'm not really looking for scary music. I'm looking for some nice tunes you can listen to while enjoying a game. Of course, I need some EPIC music for the boss fights. I'm looking for THREE composers. If you're interested, E-Mail me a sample of your work at ArcticOneGames@yahoo.com OR just leave a comment below, with a link to your music.

Please Note: This is NON-Profit. Meaning you will NOT get paid. But your name and E-Mail will be added in the credits at the end of the game.

New Stuff!

A bit earlier than what I promised. I added some new cool stuff to the game. For one thing, there's a Pause button now. Press "P" to pause and then press it once more to resume the game. Another feature I added is a new title screen. It's not great, but it's an improvement. There are two buttons you click. "New" and "Load". Pretty straight forward. Finally, the game's first BOSS. I'm not gonna post any screenshots now because there's still stuff I have to do. But remember, more updates will come this Saturday, so stay tuned!
Also, the amount of downloads have increased, but slowly. The fact is, I need a bigger traffic on this Blog since I'll be adding ads soon. Ads = Money. Money = New Programs. New Programs = Free Future Projects.

No New Updates

I regret to inform you that after a couple days, I've gotten no progress on the game. I've been very busy lately and I didn't have the time on my hands. Life comes first, you know? However, I do promise you that by the end of next week, I'll have some new stuff for you. Maybe even the game's very first BOSS. (Please keep in mind that the Snake, Phoenix, and the Snowman are mini-bosses.)
ANYWAYS, I'm very excited to finish the game and officially release it. Of course, it will remain free when the final version comes out, and any new updates prior to it will be free.
Please refer this game to your friends, maybe some websites or forums. So far there are 19 downloads for my game. It's not such a high number, but it's a progress. Show my YouTube video trailer to people or something. I'm not asking you to advertise for me, just let people know.
Also, I've added a Guestbook/Feedbacks page on this blog. Basically, as long as you stay on topic, any comment is allowed. This page is for anything related to Arctic One Games. Projects, suggestions, bugs, etc...
I promise you an update by the end of next week for sure. Maybe not a new Alpha, but maybe some screenshots and videos.
8/14/2010-New stuff are coming.
